1. WHO BREWS WITH GCBC?
A wide range of brands trust us with their precious nectar of the gods, from established regional breweries who leverage us to expand their footprint to newer local brands who needed to supplement seasonal capacity and packaging. Regardless of their size and scale, all of our clients get the same customer-centric approach, high-quality output, attention to detail and access to GCBC’s rich network of resources and contacts to help grow their brands.
2. CAN ANYONE BREW BEER AT GCBC?
No, unfortunately. You need to have either a TTB Brewer’s Notice or TTB Wholesaler’s License and any required state licenses to brew with us.
3. WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AMOUNT OF BEER I CAN BREW at GCBC?
Our standard minimum batch size is 100 barrels (BBLs). That is equal to:
– 200 half-BBL kegs
– approximately 1,400 cases of 12 oz cans
– 403,200 fluid ounces (if our math is correct)
However, our brewery and cellaring options are flexible and we can scale batches,
depending on recipe, scheduling and other factors.
4. What’s it cost to brew at GCBC?
If we knew right now, we’d tell you.
No, seriously, there are so many variables—batch size, specialty ingredients, cellaring time, scheduling needs, etc.—that make it impossible to provide flat quotes. Our system is optimized to run efficiently at a range of batch sizes though, so email us or give us a call at 855.464.GCBC (4222), and we’ll work to get you the best value based on your needs.
5. DOES GCBC BREW ITS OWN BEERS?
Our two-fold focus is on helping craft brewers scale up, offload production and package without sacrificing quality and on bringing our clients, internal team and consumers together as a collaborative hub for craft culture. As part of that mission, we do brew small batches of our own recipes to showcase our talents and keep our team sharp. These brews will be served in our taproom or in very limited distribution, and their production will never interfere with client needs.
6. DOES GCBC HAVE A TASTING ROOM?
We will as a Phase 2 after we ensure our production facility is up and running. The tasting room will be open to the public and can be reserved by GCBC clients for special events, launch parties or food/beer pairing nights. 7. WHAT KIND OF BEERS will YOU SERVE IN THE TASTING ROOM?
Our tasting room will exclusively showcase the beers we brew for our contract partners and those we occasionally brew for ourselves. Since we have clients from all over the country, you'll be sure to find brewery-fresh beers at GCBC that you won't find anywhere else locally!
